I die not of tears
rather thorough the sea of the soul swim
sucked in by the current
that hastily streams.
…..And in another life without my fill of breath
i shall not die. Privation, hopeful is the birds’ song
that conjures the sky to descend above
and moist eyed
drooling lipped on laps of saints
praying on the shores of abandonment
along with the cry of the seagulls
…..Shrieking, shuddering their wings
until the chicks depart from the
season as hollowed words… the ear
to become secluded snow
the season of the coming
warm hope, living
a tear undoes the pain
I live…
